When China Central Television (CCTV) was broadcasting Barack Obama's inaugration speech last night, they provided a simulanteous voice-over translation. But then Obama touched on a topic that prompted the station to cut the speech short, fading out from Obama and the voice-over translation, leaving the news anchor high and dry. She proves her worth however, and improvizes some discussion of US economic problems.

Besides CCTV, other media organizations that cut the speech include Sina, Soho, and Netease, that according to ETaiwan News. Now that's not to say that the speech is censored everywhere in China.
